About the event
Join us for a fun filled weekend of problem solving, horsemanship, and of course, SMOKE AND FIRE!!! Bill Richey brings his unique brand of excitement back to Black Horse Hollow for another weekend of confidence building for you and your horses!
Saturday and Sunday will be focused on the DeSpooking clinic itself, with the morning broken into a classroom session where Bill teaches about equine biology and physiology (the WHY behind what they do in stressful situations) followed by a brief break and then the real fun begins! Each riding section of the event goes from roughly mid-morning/lunchtime until around 5 PM (or until we all get tired and call it for the day!) building the challenge of the obstacles/course slowly.
We will be ordering pizza on Saturday for after the event, please bring a lunch, water, and snacks. Auditors welcome, we suggest brining a camp chair, lots of layers,…
