About the event
No horse or equipment needed, join us Thursdays starting January 22, 2026 for our kick off of our popular series, Intro to Roping! Learn all of the basics to becoming proficient in ranch roping, focusing on the practical foundations and skills needed to be an effective hand. Far beyond just a drill based lesson, as part of our "So, You Want to be a Rancher?" series we will cover the history, cultural significance, variations, and more of this invaluable skill. Our aim is to preserve and expand the knowledge of this dying art by making it more accessible to all, regardless of your status as a horseman, farmer, or rancher. Connect to your community and the land around you in ways that you can't get through a screen. All ages and abilities welcome, we are an open and affirming facility and encourage ALL who are interested to participate!
